''pHE. following are a few, of the TestiJL monials that have been received, testifying to the efficacy of this valuable SCOUR md LUNG-WORM MIXTURE :— On May 3rd, .1887, Mr John Storrier, of Ealing, writes : — Sis, — I hereby beg to certify that you drenched 82 of my Hoggets w'th your Patent Mixture for Scour and Lung- Worm, on the 15th April. They were m a weak state* and had begun to die, After you dtenched them not one died, and on the third day the Scour was stopped, and they are now doing well. : To Mr Joseph Ford, EaHng. South Rangitata, June 6th, 1887. Sir, — I have drenched our Sheep with your PATENT MIXTURE, and it has proved a perfect cure. The Hoggets were dying at the rate of from three to four each day. The disease also broke out amongst a flock of four and six-tooth Wethers I had on the turnips, and these sheep were also dying ofl fast, I drenched the lot on the 23rd May, and have lost only one sheep since. The balance are all doing well, and the disease has quite disappeared. • ; Yours, &c lf », Henry Hearn, ; (Manager for Mr Ruddenklau.) To Mr Joseph Ford. Bankfield, St Andrews, July 25th, 1887. Mr Joseph Ford, Ealing, Dear Sir, — I duly received the bottle containing your Lung- Worm Mixture. I tried it as per your instructions, on eight of the worst weancrs I had, and I am very pleased with bjc result. The quantity you sent me for Jjt was so small that I could not test its efficacy m curing Lung-Worm so thoroughly as I wou'd have liked. But lam so pleased with what I saw of it that I will use a larger quantity of it next year, and hope that it will prove to be all you claim it to be, and that you can supply it at a reasonable price • Yours faithfully, D, McLaren. , Flemington, August 31st, 1887. To Mr Joseph Ford, Dear Sir, — I have pleasure m telliug you that I purchased irom your Ashburton' Agent two 2-gallon tins of your Patent Scour and Lung- Worm Mixture, and used it m my flock. About 300 of my lambs were very bad, and I gave each of them a drench, taking care that the administration was done by my own hands. In about a week or so all had recovered with the exception of three or four . Those who formed the exception were hopeless to begin with, and their recovery I should certa'nly have looked upon as a miracle. Those that recovered are now eood honest sheep, thanks to the kindly action of your valuable patent A. McArthur. Epperstone Farm, Hinds, September 24th, 1887. Mr Joseph Ford, Ealing, Dear Sir, — I wish to add my testimony to the . great value of your Mixture for Lunto Worm and Scour m Sheep or Lambs . My Hoggets were scouring and had commenced to die off. I drafted out 24 m July, and after dagging them, gave each a dose of your Mixture, which effected a cuie, and 1 had no more trouble with them. Your Lung- Worm and Scour Mixture only requires to be more publicly known, when I am sure Sheep Farmers will be grateful to you for having made so va'uable a discovery as you have done. Yours, &c , . John Emerson. Waterton, 2nd September, 1887. To Mr Joseph Ford Dear Sir,— l have used ycur Scour and Lung-Worm Mixture with the best possible results. Yours truly, Alexander Kidd. DIRECTIONS FOR USE." One tablespoon ful and a-halt for each Sbeep is the quantity for each drench. My mode of drenching is to use a sheep's horn, made to bold the neat quantity, care to be taken to shake the tin well so as to get all the ingredients mixed to an uniform thickness before drenching. One Gallon is sufficient for 16 Sheep. JOSEPH FORD, Ealing, Patentee and Proprietor.
