Adblaids, February 23. A thousand Chinese have been landed m the colony since ist Dec. ' last. It is reported that the instigators of the Chinese movement towards the ruby fields will dispute the "thousand miles limit imposed upon the Chinese and will advise the Chinese to refuse to pay a poll tax.
