The barque Belis, which arrived here yesterday from Timaru, passed some hundreds of kerosene tins fl >ating about. On the second of February the Bells sighted a vessel's hull burned to witbin a few feet of the water's edge. Tbe bow-sprit was still standing. The captain of the Bells m a report to the Collector of Customs expressed the opinion that the derelict was the remains of the hull of the ship J. T. Berry, burned ar sea on 9th January last while on her voyape from Philadelphia to Japan and that the floating wreck is exceedingly dangerous to navigation.
