The visitors went first to 'he wicke's and were disposed of f >r 168 runs, thf principal scores b ing Me 11 wraith 88, Troll 30; Gtffen took 8 wickets. The local icnn at rhe close of the day's play had lost three wickets for 115. Giffen not out 40, Walter Giff n 30, L^ons 27. Tiie weather was fine and the wicket good, but the attendance poor.
