£ydwky, February 17. Since the Northern Railway line has been completed and through traffic Cftablished with Brisbane alterations have been made m the timetable which Newcastle people resent alleging that the alterations interfere considerably with the trade of the place. Representations on the subject having failed to effect any change, the resisidents of the town and district of Newcastle have become very angry and have been talking of forming a Separation League. The suggestion however has been negatived and a decentralization league has been formed with the avowed object of protecting the interests of the northern districts against Sydney.
