Tbe Dunedin " Star" states tha*. Mr W Daley, tbe engineer of the Oity of Dantdln and Suburban Gas Company, has teeeived authority to make arrangements that may lead to tbe shipment of trial •onsignments of West Coast coals to Buenos Ayres. The Gas Companies of that oity have hitherto relied on Jingllah •ad eanna) coals, the more expensive coal* having to be imported m large quantities owing to ffae defective qualities of the others.
