THE NEW HEBRIDES.
Mr Higginson of New Caledonia, has written a letten to the " Globe " on the New Hebrides question. He charges colonists with pursuing a covetous and pitiful policy m the Pacific, tnd asserts that the New Hebrides con* vention cannot displace French domination m that croup. He further states that the difficulty can only be settled by a compromise.
