Samuel per by, a chemist m that city, who was m destitute circumstances, poisoned his wife and six children and then c >fflmiited suicide. THE MOUNT MORGAN MINE London, February 4. The Mount Morgan (Queensland) appeal cases have teen dismissed. The point m dispute involved possession of the mine; Their Lordships held that 'he alleged omission of formalities did not justify them m annulling the leases, •yen at the instance of the Crown. The lessees were dot liable to ejectment except at the suit of the lessor, and no sufficient grounds had been alleged to exclude the holder of a miner's right.
