P3R T&EBH ASK JOIAIIOV ) London, February 3 Eleven hundred casks of tallow were sold at yesterday's auction. Mutton fetched 28s, and beef 365. - AH the wheat markets are inactive. Australian, ex warehouse, 355. The new crop sold at 9 d less. Wool — At the wool sales the bidding was spirited, prices hardening owing to foreign competition, especially German. Twelve thousand five hundred bales were sold, prices being well maintained. London February 4. Good greasy wool is a penny and scoured twopence dearer that at the December sales.
