A fire at Brown street, at 4 o'clock this morning, began m Casley'a bakehouse. The premises ocoupled by Oasley, Minnls, Green, and Cane, and Vidalea' stables were completely destroyed. Gasley and Mlnnla* houoea were Insured for £100 and £50 m the Norwich Union The rest were uninsured. Oasley'a loss of stock and furniture amounts to £160. The total loss is estimated to exceed £500 The origin Is unknown. Wbllxngton, February 4. Three fires broke out In the City this morning, all wttbin »a hour of each other. The first outbreak was In Old Custom House street at a few minuter before midnight, when a block of oneatorled buildings, oooupled by Davidson (turner and j >lner), F. Witty (acoountant), W*llls (chalnnalrerX Btaplea (toot* faotory), and Geary (blaok«mlth), were discovered on fire. The fliraos spread rapidly , and soon had a firm hold of the building About half-past one another fire broke out In the shop of Leffcr, boot and shoemaker, Willis street, The fltmen were extinguished without the assistance of the Brigade. At two o'olook the firebells again rang out an alarm, the outbreak this time being In Joh% Beok's timber yard, Dlxon strent. The fhmes rapidly spread through the whole mill, completely devastating the premlier. Ba sides the mill two small one-storied cottages and some out-buildluga m Taranalri place, and another house In Leeds street, were gutted, lnaaranoes ate not yet known.
