It is announced that another of the Greenwood's concerts is to be given m the Odd* fellows' Hall on Monday evening. The merit of the entertainments given by this talented family during their visit here here, some months ago, will be remembered and doubt, leei there will be a good attendance on the occasion of their re-appearanoe.

A special meeting of the Borough School Committee was held last evening. . Pro* sent — Messrs J. 0. Dunoan (ohairman), Dimant, and Elaton. The Ohairman ex. plained that the objoot of the meeting was to oonaidor the matter of giving the children a treat and also of presenting good attendance certificates to those pupils entitled to them He said that Mr Dimant bad discovered that there was an account for the treat fund atj the Union Bank with £2 Oa 8d standing to its; credit. A cheque for this amount had been reoeived from tho late Seoretary, and the treat fund waß now io credit £13 9s sd. It was resolved that the treat be held on Friday, February 10th, and that Mr D. H. Brown be written to asking if he will grant the nee of bis paddook for the occasion. The matter of ordering refreshments was left m the bands of Mr Elston. It was resolved that first-class attendance certificate* be presented to the children who had attended 437 times and upwards, and that Beeond-olaea certificates be issued to children who bad attended from 431 to 435 times. The following ohildren gained certificates : — First-class — Elizabeth Tannahill, Julia Hefford, George Walker, John ftolHns. Second-class— William Anderson, Joseph Ward, Elizabeth Miles. Henry Gollins, Minnie Ranger, Peter Walker, Bessie Atwell, and Alex Arthur.
