Sydney, January 30. The " Sydney Morning Herald," m an article this morning, takes Lord Augustus Loftus severely to task for the statements made by His Lordship at his banprupicy examination mth reference to his expenditure whilst Governor of New South Wales. The " Herald " says Lord Loftus was hopelessly embarrassed when he came to the colony, that the salary he received a'| Governor helped him to put off the evil day, and that when the salary ceased his Lordship came to grief.
