The Wesleyan Conference to-day decided that the time had not yet arrived for the union of all Methodist bodies.

Both the f' Argus'! ?nd "Age" recommend that great caution should be exercised m adopting the scheme of M. Pasteur, for introducing chicken cholera to exterminate rabbits, but if the scheme proved successful, ; t should be recognised as & great boon.

The Minister of Lands states that it is probable that the Government will remove the order prohibiting importation of stock m Victoria, but every precaution will be adopted to prevent the introduction of disease.
