Dunrdin, January 27. An important decision affecting doctors' charges was given by Mr Justice Williams to-day, m a case before the Court, m the shape of a motion to allow Dr Coughtrey'e proof of debt m the estate of Francis Porter. The Doctor had charged a guinea for each visit The Judgo decided to allow proof to be put m, holding that the only aecertainable value of the services rendered was what the Doctor was m the habit of; receiving for them.
