AN INTERESTING EXPERIMENT
A telephonic experiment has just been tried. Mr Stead, of the "Pall Mall Gazette," held a conversation with a representative, dfispatched on a tour round the world on behalf of that paper, from Vancouver. The circuit was 15,000 miles, the longest ever worked, and the experiment lasted for three hours, the longest interval being four minutes. -
