London, January 24. The Antwerp wool sales, which close on Saturday, comprise 15,000 bales from Australia, and 12,000 from the River Plate. There are 280,000 bales available for the , London sales, which open on Tuesday, including 40,000 bales from the Cape.
A private cable message received yesterday states :— Wheat market depressed. New Zealand wheat, fair average quality, 335; downward tendendency.
