WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

Wrllington, January 24, The Stationing Committee of the WesJeyaa Conference sat this morning. Fraternal greetings were received, and reciprocated from the Primitive Methodist and United Methodist Churches. The second reading of the station sheet oc upled the Conference m the a f ternoon. Feverul amendments were proposed, and the sheet re-committed to Committee, the second reading to be taken on Wednesday morning. Revs A. 0. Lawry, B P. Roth well, and T. J. Wallis passed unanimously the third year of their probation, and Rwb T. A. Joughin and J. Blight m the first year. Rev T. W. Newbold was permitted to retire for the present on account of ill health His examination was highly satisfactory, and much regret was expressed at his temporary retirement In the evening session the Rjv Griffiths was ordained to the office anc* work of a Christian minister. The Rev Mr Oliver, ox- President of the Conference, delivered the charge.
