The Conference of the Naw Zealand Temporanoa Alliance haa oonoladed Its •tttings The following resolution was oarried : —" That this Oonferenoe of represantatives from the different Lodges of the colony enleavor to seoare the appointment of Committees for the actvanoement of prohibition m the colony, and earnestly urge their friends ,n each licensing district to form meetings and secure votes In favor of no increase of lioenses m the coming local option contests."
