Constantinople, January 18 The Sultan has issued orders to have the defences of Adrianople completed immediately. Rome, January 18. The Consulate difficulty was a trifling diplomatic quarrel arising out of an j Italian magistrate attempting to seize belonging to the French 'Consulate at Florence, but it has since been increased by the violence of the French Press, until M. Flourens demanded redress, threatening to vindicate' the honor fand interests of France.
