THE BURNED VESSEL.
The ship J. T. Berry, burned at sea on the 9th inst, was laden with petroleum, thus accounting for the rapid spread of the flames. ?It is thought that the missing boat" may make Lord Howe Island which would be much the nearer land thah the coast of New Zealand, when the burning vessel was abandoned.
