Mr T. Bullock reports for the vrc^k •Tiding Satmd«y, January 14th : — Th ?e WBB again a large entry of horses, viz. 36, and a very good attendance of farmoia and others and an unueually brisk sale, especially for draught stock which realised from £3 to £6 psr head more than at the previous Saturday's sale and still tbero were seveial intending purchasers for this claßßwhocouldnotbesupplied. Th'ssudden demand can easily be accounted for on account of farmers requiring additional horses for harvest work. Out of tbe day's •airy of 36, the large number of 25 was Bold as follows, viz :— Medium draughts, 4 and 6 years old, £23, £27 7 and 8 years old, good stamp, £23, £25 • 5 years old, of rather a lighter description, £14, £16 10s, £18, £18 ss, according to description ; aged, £12 15b, £13, £17, £18 10a; Inferior, £5. £8. £8 10s, £9, £9 10s j 3 year old light draught, unbroken, £12 10s ; light harness horses, inferior, £5, £6 10s; hacks, £6, £6 15s, up to £10 j scpubtere at low rates

Suhdbibs — Dray and frame, £10 5.s ; old dray, £4 14s ; McCormick wire binder, £9.

Quantity of harnes, breechiDg and cart saddle brought £3 12s. Blinkers, pole straps, &o , at fall market rates. Previous to tbe usual weekly horse sale I offered T.S, 4, Bouth street, with the .old building thereon, at one time wellknown as Turton's Hotel, and the old relic only realised the low price of £37.
