LORD SALISBURY ON MR GLADSTONE.

London, January 12. Lord Salisbury, speaking at Liverpool, declared that Mr Gladstone was trying to prove that Home Rule was necessary, the result being that he was making Ireland ungovernable. His Lordship also stated that the prospects of the Conservative party had greatly improved of late.
