Paris, January 5, The French papers are exultant at the advantages possessed by France m connection with the New Hebrides question as shown by the yellow book recently issued.
French diplomatists are urging thai the troops should remain m the New Hebrides until kgypt bas been evacuated by the British. London, January 5 The " Standard," m an article on the New Hebrides question, strongly demands the evacuation of the group by France, and contends that unless this> is done immediately the colony will be justified m having misgivings as to tht reliability of the Anglo-French Convention on the subject. ■
