A PROSPEROUS LEVANTER.
Adalaide, January 6
H. A. Wood, curator of intestate estates, who levanted two years ago, is, it appears, now a resident of Corre gidor, a city of northern Mexico, where he has a fine estate of a hundred thousand acres. Wood married a wealthy Mexican lady, although his wife is m this city, and when he levanted he eloped with another woman. It is asserted influence was brought to bear to prevent the police from pursuing him energetically.
