Keith's trotting horses Wrtit-a while aud M.lvino, In saddle, for £25 Nearly 2000 people wore pres3ot. The race »■»•• vod a hollow victory for the horses. X th rode, his weight being lOat. The hoise hal done five miles when Wood had covered four Keith then ohanged to Malvino, aad gained one lap (a third of a mile) before the finish, thus winning by 1$ mile. Time— 2Bmin 33seo. The betting was slightly m favor of the horses
