Wellington, December 30. The Royal Commission for the representation of IS'ew Zealand at the Mel. bourne Centennid Exhibition has been issued Th 9 Commissioners are : — Tbe Governor (President), Sir Jas. Hector (vice President), Hona T. . W. Hislop and Waterhouse. the Mayor of Wellington, Messrs W. H. Levin, A. K. Newman, W. Peed. <i. E. Tolhurst, W. Cable, and O J. Forward. Mr Ohas. Oallis haa been appointed Secretary to tho Commissioners, Ihe first meeting was held yesterday. It was determined that 8000 ft of space should bo applied for, and the Commissioners ask for a complete and thorough representation of exhibits of raw products _ skilled industries, and arts. The attention of flock- owners is also directed to the faot that two wool shows will be held, oue of the 1887 clip, and subsequently the clip of 1888, the two shows to be judged separately.
