The orloket match, Adelaide v. Mr Vernon's Eleven, was resumed to-day. The Home team had nine wickets doira. for 489 runs, plaviDg one ma : short. This closed the Inning, The Englishmen then commenced their second innings, and had put together 62 runs without the loss of a wicket, wheu play was stopped, owing to the visitors beln^ unable to continue the matab, they having to leave for Melbourne In order to oommence a match against combined Australia on Saturday. The local match waa deolarwd a draw.
