The Committee decided that every child fchould receive a priz>, but that th« most valuable should be given to those who were placed by the Inspector In order of merit. The Chairman, Mr G. Gllmour, kindly •on eented to distribute tbe prfz9?, and taedfl • few very suitable remarks to the children, especially addressed to those In tae upper Standards, urging upon them the necessity of steady application to their studies.
