Adelaide flour, ex store, perj:Bolb, 245. Australian beef tallow, fair average quality, 24S per, cwt ; mutton do 24s 6d per cwt. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,480,000 quarters, and for the Continent 219,000 quarters Mblboubnb ; lieoember 24. ihe local Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, reporting on the Melbourne markets, states :-\Vheat is m good demand, and 3 s 4 d to 3 s 7d per bushei is obtainable. Malting barlef 13 quoted at 4 s to 4 s 6d per bushek but the market is very irregular foe this description of grain. New Zealand oats feed qualities, are m less demand, and prices are. occasionally easier, rulinc quotations being 2 . 3 9 d to 2s toi per bushel. For milting descriptions there is steady but not active demand at »s *o.d to 23 rid par bushel. New Zealand oats under bond are quoted at 29 id to as id per bushej.
