The « Berlin Post " estimates that the Russian force on the frontier exceeds the German and Austrian force by a hundred and seventy-one battalions, a hundred squadrons, and forty-five batteries; Londow, December 22. The fears of a European war are on the increase, owing to a report being revived that the Russian forces have made a further advance m the direction of the Galician frontier. (Received December 23, 1.40 p.m.) London, December 22. It is generally believed that the German, Austrian and Italian Governments are m favor of the removal of Prince Ferdinand as ruler of Bulgaria m order to conciliate Russia and thereby permit of a peacable settlement of the Bulgarian question being arrived at.
