Auckland, December 22. Fever has broken oat on board the squadron now m harbor, and iwj canes of Interra'ttent fever were despatched yesterday to the Hospital from H.M S. Aehoroft and Co for £50 to be recouped to them for loss sustained through their offer for electric lighting of the city having been rejected Napier, December 22. It haß been decided to build a Baptist church here forthwith, The Waterworks Engineer, after testing the various coals, recommended the Westport. The Council decided to contlnae the test.
