A DISPUTED LEASE
Nat-iisr, December 16. The civil business of the Supreme Court commenced to-day with a peouliar case, m I whloh Mra N. Williams Bought to have a lease of a section of land to D. Hltohman declared void on the alleged ground of fraud. Defendant bid for a lease at auction ths condltiona being a rise of rent every seven years. The lease made out by a aollcitor, now dead, contained provision for Buch Increaso3, but It was not completed, tbe omission not being dlaoovored until reoently. The plaintiff had Instructed another firm to draw up a lease, and denied authorising the aollcitor m question, who was employed by the defendant, who, however, denies that he gave any specific instructions, leaving tho solicitor to fi'id out the terms of the lease from plaintiff's agent. The oaae oooupled all day, and will be continued to-morrow;
