THE MELBOURNE WOOL SALES
Messrs Goldsborough and Co. (Limited) report that the wool sales cohtinue to be largely attended, and animated competition prevails for the various lots submitted. Good greasy sells up to iid per Ib, good scoured up to is 4d, and superior washed wool up to is* 7d. Light-conditioned wools and crossbreds meet with good general demand. 4800 bales are reported as having been sold by the firm during the week.
