SYDNEY PARLIAMENT.
ROWDYISM RAMPANT.
[rkutbk's tblbqbams— copyright,] Sydney, December 14. The evening sitting of the Legislative Assembly yesterday was one of great confusion and disorder, culminating m a scene the like of which has never been equalled m Parliament. When the cloture was applied, on the question being put, member after member rose and protested against the action of the Speaker. Each was successively named, and removed below the gangway by the Sergeant-at-Arms. Fourteen members m all of the Opposition were thus dealt with, among them being Messrs Dibbs, Lyne, Garvan, Melville, O'Sullivan, Creer, Walker, Hannall, and W. Wall. It was not until Mr Dibbs' motion, censuring the financial proposals of Government had been rejected, that the members named returned to the Chamber. Great ill-feeling was manifested throughout the proceedings which to-day have been the subject of much comment. The House did not rise until after io this morning.
