VOTE OF CENSURE.

Sydney, December 6. In the Legislative Assembly to-day, Mr Dibbs, leader of the Opposition, moved a direct motion of censure upon the Government m a speech which generally condemned the policy of the Government, characterising the proposed management of the finances of the colony as extravagant and unsatisfactory. Hedenounced, as especially objectionable, the proposals relating to reducing the salaries of Civil servants. The Premier, m reply, made an able defence of the Government's policy. The debate is proceeding.
