Consols and New Zealand securities are quoted at yesterday's prices. Breadstuffs and tallow are unaltered m value. The total quantity of wheat and flout afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,460,000 quarters, and for the Continent of Europe 207,000 quarters. Wool. — At the colonial wool sales today, a catalogue comprising 10,600 bales was submitted to auction. Spirited' competition was evinced for the various lots, the tone of the sales being decidedly firmer. Superfine or finest qualities of greasy wools ruled about id m advance of the prices -obtained at the last wool sales. Medium and inferior greasy are fully 3j£d dearer. Scoured wool generally realised an advance of j£d to id per lb. Londow, December 3.
At to-day's wool sales 9900 balei were submitted at auction. The market was steady. The present series of colonial wool auctions closes on the zoth instant.
