It had been bis privilege for several years past to move Mr Walker's election to the ohalr, and he had great pleasure m doing bo on tho present ocoa.Blon_ Bo regretted tfyit Mr Walker was absent, hnvlng missed the train from Ohri&tohurch. During the nine or ten years Mr Walker had presided at the Council's meetings he had given universal satisfaction ; he had been throughly impartial and had never promoted the interest of any section of the district RFjainßt another. Mr Grigg seconded the motion, which was nnanimously carried.
