Sydney, November 30.

A case of supposed wholesale poisoning is reported from the Albury district. A dispute having arisen at Mann's station, Tumberambera, between union and non-union shearers, a number of the iatter were seized with sudden illness. Over a dozen are now lying m a very critical state, though they are expected to recover. It is believed arsenic has been placed m the water to poison the men.

Melbourne, November 30.

The latest reports from Barwidjee station state that everything is quiet there at present, but the Unionist shearers maintain a determined attitude.
