New Zealand oats show a slight improvement, and realise is iod to 2s 2d per bushel. Maize is rather firmer at 4s per 561 b. Melbourne, November 25 The circular of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Limited, just published, confirms the opinion already expressed, that the Victorian wheat crop will average fully fourteen bushels to the acre. John Lysaght, Limited, Bristol, cable their Wellington house that galvanised iron has advanced another 10s per ton, the present price of their " Orb " brand being 10s f.o.b. London. (Received November 26, 1 p m. London, November 24 Consols have advanced }£ and are now selling at 103^. New Zealand inscribed stock is unchanged at g6j4. The Bank of England weekly returns show the total reserve m notes and bullion to be ;£i 2, 700,000, an increase of during the week. The proportion of reserve to liabilities is 48 per cent. There are no changes to report m colonial breadstuff's or tallow. At the wool auctions to-day 8000 bales were submitted, prices being firmly maintained. The total withdrawals to date amount to 2000 bales.
