THE CHANGE OF NAME.
Sydney, November 23. The motion given notice of by the Premier m the Assembly yesterday proposing the alteration of the name ol this colony to " Australia" came before the House to-day, when after st lengthy debate the motion was adopted by fifty-six to^eventeen.
