THE CHANGE OF NAMES.
The proposal of Sir Henry Parkes to alter the name of New South Wales to Australia has excited much ridicule and adverse comment throughout Victoria. Sydney, Kovember 22. The Premier, Sir Henry Parkes, gave notice m the Legislative Assembly to-day of the Bill changing the name of this colony to " Australia."
