— ♦ Mr Peter Williami (for Friedlander Bros.) report* for the week ending Tuesday, 22nd November, 1887:— On Friday, the 18th inst , we held our fortnightly sale of cheep ekiDß, &o , at onr East street Horse Bazaar, About 300 skins came forward, and prices ruled about the same as last quoted ; — Best crossbred, 4s 6d to 5s 6d ; iredlnm, 4s to 4ti 3d ; inferior, 2s 9d to 3s 6d ; merinos, £ood, 3s 6d ; inferior, 2s 6d Dry skins sold at 4|d to 5d per 1b ; 3 bags pieces of woo], 6d per Ib. On Saturday, the 19th init. , we held our weekly sale of horses, &0., at onr East street Hone Bazaar. There was a medium entry of 9, all hacks, with a good attendance off armors and others, but few buyers. Only a few changed hands. Good hack and harness hones £12 10s, £11 10s, £11 ; inferior, £5 Pits — Medium store porkers, 18s to 20s, with good demand. Poultey — Fowls, 2s per pair ; ducks, 3b 3d per pair. PfcODUCß.— Derwente, 3s to Ss 6d per bag ; fowls' wheat, 7b 6d per bag ; oat?, 1b 6d per bushel ; flour, 18s 64 per bag ; bran, 4s 3d per bag ; cheese, 3d per lb ; oatmeal! 2s 9d per bag ; tea, 12s 6d per box ; grass Beed, 1b 6d per bushel ; peas, 2b 9d per bushel. A quantity of furniture and bare ess at fair priceß. At the Tiowald yards cd Tuesday, the 22nd November, about 4000 sheep and 150 head of cattlfl came forward, The attendance wbb fair, and the bidding slack, although inost'y all the lines were cleared at fair prices. Fat croßsbredn, shorn, 6s 3d to 8a 3d ; ditto, m the wool, 10* 4d, 10h 9d, 12 i, 12b 3d and 13s. Fit limbs, 6b 3d *, crossbred bongtts, ss,' 5a 3d, 6b lid, 7b 2d, 7s 8d; orossbred lioggeti, firet-crofs, thotn. 3a 6d ; 2 and 4-tootb oroßßbreas, thorn, 6b Id ; 2, 4 and •6 tooth ewes, with about 00 per cent of lambs, 8b Id.
