There was a large attendance, and competition was very brisk, prices being fully maintained. The catalogue comprised no superior wool, but lightconditioned descriptions greasy merino, realised 9^d ; good quality merino, 7>^d to B^d ; inferior ditto, 6d to 7d ; crossbreds, 9j^d ; scoured pieces, nj^d ; bellies, 9^d. Nine thousand bales have been disposed of up to date.
