In dua course he Bailed for " England, home and beauty " at the board's expense. Arrived m Cornwall he repaired, not to his ancestral halls, but to the room m which the Board of Guardians of the Parish sat, and applied to them for aid. They heard his story, and declined to do' anything for him except give him a passage to New Zealand at;ain, and m a few days he was packed off again by the a. a. Coptic, and arrived here the other day very much the better for his olroumnavigatory trip. He is now engaged m once more wooing the favot of the Charitable Aid Board, with what success time wili show
