No entry for the above Races will be received except on tho condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewart, b, or whom they may appoint, their decision on all points ci nnected with the carrj ing out of this programme to be final, I 2. The raceß are open to any horse commonly resident m the district fr< m the Ist of October. 1887, to tho date of meoting, and owned by a person who has teeided m the district during the same period. 4. The district above mentio ed is bounded on the north by the Selwjn, and on the south by the Orari. 6. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all monies payable m accordance with this projjramme for expenses of the course. 6. No protest will bs received unless lodged within 16 minutes after the race hoB been run, to which- the prot at refers, and must bo accompanied by £2 m cash. 7.
