THE SUGAR INDUSTRIES.
A meeting of colonials interested m the sugar industries took place yesterday. It was resolved to write to Sir Henry Holland, Secretary of State for the Colonies, complaining of the. inadequate representations of colonial interests at the Sugar Conference. Objection was also raised to the presence of Baron dc Worms as President of the Conference, owing to the action of the Board of Trade m supporting the sugar bounties.
