Melbourne, November 16, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, held their usual sale to-day,, when a catalogue of 1750 bales, consisting principally of medium and lower' des« criptions ot wool, was submitted to auction, There Was a full attendance of buyers, and brisk competition 'prevailed. Prices generally were equal to those obtained last week, though sometimes irregularity was noticeable. Superior greasy merino realised io^d to is, medium to good 7 J<d to 9#d, interior s^d to 6><d.' bates were disposed of during the sale. Only a few superior clips were catalogued. Messrs Goldsborough and Co., Limited, held their usual sale to day. Prices were fully ejqual to the last. The attendance was large, and compe^ tition spirited, the demand for wool becoming more general m character^ Superior greasy merino brought as much as u^d: good crossbred, I * o^<9; superior lambs wool, I2#d; pieces $}£d' } and scoured, 1 6% d. Six thousand bales have been Sold during the past week. ~
