MELBOURNE MARKETS.
The local manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports on the Melbourne markets as follows :—Shipping wheat firmly maintains last quotations, 3s 6d to 3s 7d per bushel. Malting barley 4s to ss, prices only nominal. Oats — New Zealand iced sorts, good demand, 2s 0.(1 to 2s lod per bushel ; milling descriptions meet with fajr demand at 2s iod to 25 nd pqr bushel ; New Zealand oats, under bond, are quoted at 23 to 2s 2d per bushel.
