I London, November 14. I • A telegram received from Mr Gladstone has been published, wherein he urges that the legacy of the prohibition of the meetings m Trafalgar squaae ought to be promptly verified. Meanwhile he declares it is the duty of every citizen to abstain from resisting the action of the executive. The persons arrested for taking prominent parts m the riotous proceedings yesterday were brought before the Magistrates to-day. A number of prisoners were fined, others were sentenced to various terms of imprisonment. Mr Robert Graham, M.P., was remanded, bail being accepted.
