New Zealand 5 per cent 10-40 Loan, 15s ex dividend. The market rate is 3 per cent, being 1 per cent below the bank rate. Colonial breadstuff's are without quotable change. Tallow — Beef, fair average quality, 22s 6d per cwt; mutton do, 23s 66. The stock of tallow m London is 10,700 casks. Scotch pig iron, f.0.b., Clyde 31s per ton. Londok, November 2. MBLBOtmifK, November 3 The usual weekly wool sale of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, took place to-day, when 6000 bales were submitted to auction m the presence of a large attendance of buyers, Spirited competition was manifested and the prices obtained were about equal to those of last week's sale. A parcel of western district greasy lamb's wool realised i2 J /zd per Jb, merino combing jod, { and fcourcd as much ?s i6#d. •
